17 MATLABがTimesフォントがないと警告する

MATLAB を起動すると、警告が出る。

Warning: the font "Times" is not available, so "Lucida Bright" has been substituted, but may have unexpected appearance or behavor. Re-enable the "Times" font to remove this warning.

え、Times がないの。とりあえず検索。

うーん、これが良い解決策か分からないけれど、真似をしてみる。

https://freefontsdownload.net/free-times-font-101.htmをインストールしたら、とりあえず警告は出なくなった。

上は MATLAB 2021a だったけれど、別の Mac 2台 (macOS は Monterey) に MATLAB 2022a をインストールした場合、 警告は出なかった。MATLAB の方で Times 使うのやめたのかな (確認する気力なし)。

フォントはしょっちゅう問題を引き起こす。
